7/8 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. For best results, have all ingredients at room temperature. Mix flour and salt in bowl. Make a well in the center. Pour in the milk and water. Stir this into the flour mixture. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.

Add several teaspoons of butter to 9x13 pan. Set pan in oven until butter melts. Add batter. Bake for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 10-15 minutes. Serve at once.

This was a favorite weeknight meal growing up. Add browned sausage patties before baking and you've got Mom's famous "Toad-in-the-Hole."
