1 9" pie crust, prepared
1/2 lb diced ham
1/2 lb shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 c. minced onion
1 tbsp. butter
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Saute onions in the butter until glazed. Mix all other ingredients and add onions. Pour mixture into pie shell and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake an additional 20-25 minutes.

Proportions can vary come, to taste.
