1 tablespoon water
1 cup sugar
1 egg white
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups pecan halves
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Add pecan halves and mix well, coating each pecan half. Heat oven to 300 degrees. Melt butter in jellyroll pan. Place pecan mixture evenly in pan and roast for 30 minutes, watching carefully so they do not burn, Separate from time to time with fork or spatula.
