2 c wild rice
1 qt boiling water
1 T salt
2 c butter or margarine
3 medium onions, chopped finely
2 medium green peppers, chopped finely
2 pimentos, chopped
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sage
salt and pepper

Wash rice well in 2-3 changes of water. Cook rice, covered, in boiling, salted water for 20 minutes.
Drain thoroughly.
Melt butter in skillet and add onions and peppers; saute until soft.
Mix in pimentos, thyme and sage. Add cooked rice and toss lightly. Season to taste.
Turn into greased 2 qt casserole. Cover and bake at 325
