3 lbs frozen hashbrown potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1-8oz sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Topping (optional):
1/4 cup margarine, melted
2 cups corn flakes crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Partially thaw potatoes. Add salt, pepper, and margarine into potatoes and mix well. Add sour cream, soup, and onions one at a time and mix throughly after each ingredient is added. Fold in cheese. Place in 3 qt casserole dish. Top with cornflake mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
