1 # chicken breasts, cut in 2 in. pieces (I sometimes cook these before)
1 (10 oz.) package frozen okra
2 links andouille sausage, diced
1 cp. chopped onions
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 t. thyme
1 t. oregano
t. salt
2 bay leaves
t. each of onion powder, garlic powder, dry mustard,
t. each of cayenne and black pepper
2 cps. Chicken broth
2 cps. V/8 juice
2 cps. Cooked rice

Make a roux of cp. oil and cp. flour. Remove from burner and add to crockpot filled with other ingredients except rice. Stir well and cover. Cook for 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high. Serve over rice. ENJOY!!
