2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup milk

Stove Top:
On low heat, melt the butter. Blend in flour, salt, pepper until smooth. Stir in milk and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Turn down to low and cook until thick.

Microwave:
Melt butter first melting the butter in 30 second increments. Blend in flour, salt, pepper until smooth. Stir in milk with wire wisk and cook into 1 minute increments, stirring every minute to make sure mixture cooks smoothly.

***Add more butter and flour for thicker sauce.

This cream sauce is perfect for putting on boiled, buttered & parsleyed potatoes. Also perfect as a topping for lutefisk!
