1 8 ox. piece hot-smoked salmon
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 tbsp. sliced green onion
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 1 tsp. died dill weed, crushed
Thinly sliced whole wheat bread
Butter, softened
Fresh dill weed
Capers
Lemon slices or wedges or chives (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Remove skin and bones from salmon. Place salmon in a bowl and flake with a fork. Stir in sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, lemon juice, and the 1 tbsp. fresh dill. Cover and chill.

To serve: cut bread into triangles or circles. Spread lightly with softened butter. Spread with salmon mixture. Garnish with dill weed and capers. Arrange canapes on a platter. If desired, garnish platter with lemon slices or wedges or chives.SLVD370P
