Base:
1 package Pillsbury Plus Devilís Food Cake Mix
21-oz. can cherry pie filling
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
Frosting:
1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/3 cup mils
1 cup (6-oz. Pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease and flour 15X10 inch jelly roll or 13X9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine base ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into pan. Bake: jelly roll pan 20-25 min.; 13X9 inch pan 25-30 minutes. In small saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over warm bars. Makes about 3 dozen bars.
