1 1/2 c softened butter
3 c sugar
8 eggs
3 c flour
6 T milk or cream
1 1/2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, beating till light and smooth. Add eggs and flour alternately, mixing well. Add milk and vanilla: mix until smooth. Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Place in a cold oven and turn heat to 325. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Do not overbake

I like to serve this cake with chocolate covered strawberries. (white and dark chocolate)
