6 T butter
3/4 c flour
2 c sugar (divided)
2 t baking powder
1/8 t salt
3/4 c milk
2 c sliced fresh or frozen or drained peaches
topping of choice(cream, ice cream, whipped)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 9X13 pan. Combine flour, 1 c sugar, baking powder, salt and milk, mix well. Pour the batter evenly into the melted butter without stirring. Combine the peaches and 1 c sugar: pour peaches into the middle of batter without stirring. Bake 350 for about 30 min or until lightly browned. Serve warm with your favorite topping.
