(for the loaf) - 2 1/2 lbs of ham (ground), 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, 1 cup bread crumbs - no salt or pepper.

(for the sauce) - 1 T prepared mustard, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup boiling water, & ground cloves

Directions:
Mix loaf ingredients together and form into a loaf and put into a baking dish. After combining the sauce ingredients, pour over the ham loaf and put into oven, but do not start basting until it begins to thicken. Then baste frequently. Do not cover. Bake at 325 degrees - 350 degrees F for about 2 hours.

The secret for a good meat loaf from this recipe is not too much fat in the baking.
