2 tbsp. honey or light corn syrup
1/2 cup light or half and half
1 bar (8 3/4 - 9 oz.) milk chocolate, broken in small pieces
1/4 cu very finely chopped toasted almonds or pecans, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbs. Cointreau, optional
Foods for twirling: angel food or chocolate cake, apples, bananas, cantelope, pineapple, strawberries, grapes oranges, ladyfingers, marshmallows, unfrosted brownies

Heat honey and cream in ceramic or metal fondue pot over direct high flame. Lower heat stirring in chocolate pieces. Heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Stir in nuts, vanilla, Cointreau, if used. Let guests spear favorite foods for twirling. Cool slightly and eat.

Chocolate Mint: Follow above recipe and change as follows: omit nuts. Substitute 1/4 tsp. mint extract for vanilla and use creme de menthe instead of Cointreau.

Chocolate Rum:

Substitute above as follows: Omit nuts. Substitute 1/2 tsp. rum extract for vanilla and light or dark rum for Cointreau.
