6 T. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Rind of 1 lemon
1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and lemon rind and add to egg mixture alternately with milk; then add lemon extract. Pour into a loaf pan, bake at 350 F for 50 minutes.

While warm pour a mixture of the juice of 1 lemon and cup of sugar over the loaf.
