1 c. sugar 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. water 1/4 t. vanilla 2 c. pecan halves
Mix sugars, water, & vanilla. Bring to a boil and boil until it spins a fine thread - about 7 mins. Pour nuts in sugar mixture and stir to coat. Stir, stir, stir. When coating begins to sugar, pour onto waxed paper & separate nuts. Cool & serve.
I put these in freezer bags & hide them from Mick.
