1 cup margarine or butter softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
3 cups quick oats
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min. or until golden brown. Cool 1 min. on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.

You can put these into a ungreased 9x13 in. metal pan and bake for 30-35 min. Lucas brought these to the races all the time. Everyone enjoyed them
