2 cups brown sugar
3 cips flour
1 scant cup shortening
2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly. Then take out one cup of mixture and put aside for topping. To the rest add 2 wel beaten eggs, 1/2 tsp soda, 1 cup sour milk, 1 tsp baking powder. Beat well, turn into greased pan. Then sprinkle saved mixture on top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
