Streusel filling and topping:
1/2 cup borwn sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp flour
3 tbsp melted oleo
1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 1/2 cup sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening and blend in well beaten egg mixed with milk. Spread 1/2 batter in bottom of 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 pan (greased and floured). Sprinkle 1/2 streusel mix over this. Add other batter and them remaining streusel over top. Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes
