1 gal. medium cucumbers, thinly sliced
2 c onions thinly sliced
1/2 c salt
4 c sugar
1 tsp. tumeric
2 tsp. celery seed
2 qts. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers but DO NOT PEEL. Slice onions and cucumbers, mix with salt, place a weighted lid on them and let stand at least 3 hours. Drain nearly dry. Mix together sugar, tumeric, celery seed and vinegar and pour over the drained pickles. Place on stove and heat to scalding point, stirring occasionally. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. GOOD
