8 lbs. pickles sliced 1/4 in. thick
2 c lime
2 qt. vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spice
1 tsp. whole cloves
7 c sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sliced pickles and lime in large container and cover with 2 gallon water. Soak 24 hours, stiring often. Rinse and drain, cover and soak in clean water for 3 hours. Drain. Heat vinegar, sugar and spices until dissolved good. Let cool and then pour over drained pickles. Let stand overnight, In the morning simmer for 40 minutes and put into jars and seal. GOOD
