1 pound brown sugar
3/4 cup white Karo Syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook over medium heat, all ingredients except vanilla & nuts. Cook to 240 on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat, add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased 9 X 9 X2 pan. Cool and cut into pieces. Also makes good caramel apples.
