8 large ripe cucumbers 4 red peppers 4 1/2 tsp. celery seed 4 1/2 tsp mustard seed 1 1/2 c white vinegar 1/4 c salt 4 large onions 2 1/2 c sugar
Peel and slice cucumbers into crock or glass bowl. Add salt and mix well. Let stand over night, and drain. Run through course blade of food chopper, with peppers and onions. Put in kettle, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil and cook 30 minutes. Stir occasionally, pack in jars and seal.
