Ingredients:
Dough:
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. + 1 tsp. sugar
1 c. milk scalded
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs beaten

Filling:
2 cans pie filling (blueberry or cherry)
2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 scant T. flour
dash of salt
6 eggs beaten
1 pt. whipping cream
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Dough:
Combine the yeast with 1 tsp. sugar and the cooled milk. Combine with the rest of the sugar, salt, shortening and eggs with enough flour to make a soft dough. Set aside and let rise an hour or longer.

Now you have time to get everything ready. Grease the bottoms and sides of six pie plates or other tins. Divide the dough into 6 pieces and roll to each to fit the pie plates bringing the dough up the sides about 1/2". Smear the edges with softened butter and sprinkle with sugar. Dot the pie filling on with a teaspoon. (I can get 3 kuchens from each can of pie filling.)

Filling:
Combine the cream cheese, sugar, flour, salt, beaten eggs and pint of whipping cream. Warm the above in a large kettle, but be sure to stay with it and stir so it doesn't scorch.
Ladle about 1 1/4 scoop of the filling over the pie filling and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the filling sets up.
