¾ lb. lean ground beef ½ c cooked bacon pieces 2 beaten eggs ¼ c water 6 oz grated cheese Salt & Pepper 1/3 c chopped onion ½ c mayonnaise ¼ c heavy cream 4 oz mushrooms
Brown hamburger in skillet with onion. Remove and mix in bowl with bacon pieces. Drain well and press into bottom of deep dish pie pan. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350. Combine remaining ingredients in mixer and whip well. Pour mixture over beef ‘crust’ and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until top is browned and set. Cool 15 minutes.
