1 head lettuce
2) 11 oz cans mandarine oranges, chilled
1 cup celery, chopped
2 tbsp fresh parsley, snipped
1 bunch green onions sliced

1/2 cup sliced almonds
3 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/4 tsp tabasco
2 tbsp wine vinegar
mix until well blended, keep at room temp.

Combine onions, celery, parsley and oranges. Tear lettuce into bite sized pieces. Be sure it is dry. Add orange mixture. Toast sliced almonds in skillet with sugar until coated, watch closely. Toss just before serving
