4-5 boneless chicken breasts
2 chicken boullion cubes
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper (maybe more to taste)
2 cans cream of chicken soup or 1 cup evaporated milk and 2 T butter
1 recipe dumplings

Directions:
Directions:
In a large dutch oven, combine chicken, onion powder, salt and pepper; add water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered 45 min. or until chicken is tender. Cool chicken slightly; cut into pieces. Bring broth to a boil over medium high heat; add chicken and soup or milk. Drop dumpling strips, one at a time, into boiling chicken mixture. Do not stir. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 8-10 min; gently shaking dutch oven back and forth occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking.
