1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
1 TABLESPOON MARGARINE
1 ˝ POUNDS LEAN GROUND BEEF
2 MEDIUM ONIONS, FINELY CHOPPED
1 CLOVE PRESSED GARLIC
1 TABLESPOON FRENCH’S MUSTARD
1 SIX OUNCE CAN TOMATO SAUCE
2 TABLESPOONS CHILI POWDER
4 REGULAR LONG HOT DOGS
SALT AND PEPPER

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except hot dogs and simmer until thick.
Grind the hot dogs and add to sauce. Mixture should be the same consistency as taco meat.
Mix thoroughly and cook 15 minutes longer.
Place hot dog in bun with a little mustard, and top with sauce.

Chopped Vidalia onions or sweet onions may be added to top, or grated cheese.

HINT- If mixture is a little thin, add a few crumbled soda crackers. There must not be too much moisture to sauce otherwise the bun is soaked.
