1 tsp dried italian mixed herbs
1 egg lightly beaten

Directions:
Mix the ground beef and 3 Tbsp. tomato sauce in a bowl until the beef is covered. Add in the egg and mix well. Mix the 1 tsp of herbs with the 1 cup of breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Add the breadcrumbs to the meat and mix well until its completely covered. Put enough vegetable oil in a frying pan to cover the entire pan (about 1/4" deep). Heat oil on medium high heat. Make small patties...about 1/4 size of a regular hamburger patty. After the oil is heated, place patties in pan and cook until brown.

Personal Notes:
Kids really like this meal. You can serve them with brown gravy. They are also good with very finely chopped onions. Just mix the onions in before you put the breadcrumbs in.
