1 c shorting
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 c crushed potato chips
Chopped nuts optional.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shorting and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add to shorting mixture. Add potato crumbs. Mix good. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
