10 bacon strips cooked & crumbled
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 T flour
1/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
1 unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
1/2 cups half & half

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon until crispy, drain on paper towel. Saute onion in 1 T reserved bacon drippings. Cut asparagus in 1 inch pieces and cook in a small amount of boiling water until tender crisp; drain & set aside. In bowl toss bacon, onion,asparagus, cheese, flour, salt & pepper. Put in pie shell. In bowl beat eggs and add half & half pour over bacon mix. Bake at 400 for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
