2 qt. Cider vinegar
2 qt. Water
1 1/2 c. Sugar
Dash Cinnamon
Whole Allspice
Whole Cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar, water, and vinegar w/ cooked, peeled beets for 15 minutes. Place in jars, add 6 allspice and 6 cloves to each, and seal.

You can also use store bought canned beets as Clara McMillan taught me. Her allspice idea makes for a great flavor!
