1 (3 Lbs.) Beef Top Round Roast, trimmed 2 Cups Water 1/2 Cup Light Soy Sauce 1 Tsp. Dried Rosemary 1 Tsp. Dried Thyme 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder 1 Bay Leaf 3 Whole Peppercorns 8 French Rolls
Place roast in slow cooker. Add water, soy sauce and seasonings. Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours. Remove roast from au jus. Slice roast thinly or shred beef and keep warm. Lightly butter rolls and broil just until golden brown. Pile beef on rolls and serve with au jus from slow cooker.
