Romaine lettuce, washed and dried, torn into pieces
Dressing: 1 garlic clove, mashed
A few anchovies, mashed
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
! T wine vinegar
1 heaping ts. Dijon mustard
1/4 C olive oil
Juice from 1/4 squeezed lemon
1 egg yolk
1/4 C Parmesan cheese, grated

in large wooden bowl...mash 1 clove garlic and several anchovies..add 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 1 T wine vinegar, pepper...add..1 heaping tsp. Dijon mustard..keep mixing...add 1/4 cup olive oil..add 1/4 squeezed lemon...1 egg yolk...wisk together...add 1/4 cup croutons and 1/4 cup parm. cheese...mash and mix in romaine lettuce...more croutons, and toss.
