1 GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX
1 CUBE MARGARINE
1 16 OUNCE PACKAGE OF CARAMELS
1/3 CUP MILK
1 16 OUNCE PACKAGE CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS

Directions:
Directions:
Mix German chocolate cake as directed.
Pour of batter in 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Melt 1 cube margarine, 1 sixteen ounce package of caramels. Add 1/3 cup of milk. Mix well, and pour over baked cake.
Sprinkle 16 ounce package of chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped pecans over caramel layer. Pour remaining half of batter over this concoction.
Bake at 250 for 20 minutes, then for another 10 minutes at 350.
If desired, the chopped nuts may be omitted.
If desired, frost top of cake with chocolate frosting.
