2 Cups Butter, softened
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tbsp. Vanilla
1/2 Tbsp. Almond Extract, optional
2 Eggs
5 Cups Flour
3/4 Tbsp. Baking Soda
3/4 Tbsp. Cream of Tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream butter, sugars, extracts and eggs until fluffy and mixed well. Add dry ingredients blending thoroughly. Refrigerate for about 2 hours until the dough is easy to handle. Roll out 1/4 to 1/2 inch thinkness. Cut with a large cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
