1 QUART BUTTERMILK.
CUP MINUTE TAPIOCA.
1 CUP SMALL RAISINS.
1/4 CUP SUGAR.
1/4 TEASPOON CINNAMON.
DASH NUTMEG.

Directions:
Directions:
Soak raisins in hot water if hard.
Mix ingredients together except sugar.
Cook over medium heat about 15 minutes being very careful not to let boil. Stir almost constantly.
If starting to curdle, add baking soda.
Add about 2 tablespoons sugar and cook to boiling.

This is another Danish dish my mother and Danish grandmother, Laura Nissen, used to cook fairly often. They served this soup with bread and meat sandwiches and fresh tomatoes.
