2 sticks of butter
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
1 stick butter
4 T. cocoa
6 T. butter milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt: 2 sticks butter, water, cocoa, bring to a rapid boil. Pour over: flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir well. Add: butter milk, eggs (lightly beaten), and vanilla. Put in a jelly roll pan and bake for 15 to 20 min.

Frosting:
Bring to a boil: 1 stick of butter, cocoa, and butter milk. Add: powdered sugar, vanilla, and nuts (if you want). Spread frosting over cake while warm.
