1 loaf Italian bread 1/2 cup butter (melted) 2 garlic cloves, pressed 1 tsp. dried basil (or 1 T. fresh) 1/4 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 375º. Cut bread into 1 inch-thick slices. Melt butter and add remaining ingredients; mix well. Brush butter mixture over both sides of the bread. Bake 13-15 minutes until bread is crisp.
