1 1/2 lbs. pork steak (cut in 1/2 to 3/4 " cubes) 1 bunch celery, cut into small pieces 1 large chopped onion 6 T. soy sauce 2 cans mixed chop suey vegetables 1 can mushrooms blanched almonds
Brown cubed pork in small amount of butter. Add celery, onion, and soy sauce. Simmer for about 1 1/2 hrs. Add chop suey vegetables with liquid. Reheat and thicken with cornstarch. Add mushrooms and blanched almonds. Serve on heated chow mein noodles and serve with extra soy sauce.
