1/4 Cup Shortening
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Egg, beaten
2 Cups Flour
4 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Milk (3/4 milk and 1/4 buttermilk)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk stirring only enough to mix. Fill well greased muffin tins half way full. Bake at 375 until golden brown.
