6 egg yolks, 3 whites
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. cream
2 tbsp. melted butter
6 crushed cardamom seeds (or 1/4 tsp. heaping of ground cardamom)
flour
oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks and whites together until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar and keep beating. Add cream and keep beating. Blend in butter. Put in cardamom and enough flour so you can roll real thin. Cut into diamond shapes, 5 x 2 1/2". Deep fry in hot fat 2 - 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
