1 Pkg. Yeast
1/4 Cup Water, lukewarm
1 Cup Milk, scalded
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Tsp. Salt
5 Cups Flour
2 Eggs, beaten
1/4 Cup Orange Juice
2 Tbsp. Orange Rind, grated
Glaze:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1/4 Cup Orange Juice
1 Tbsp. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in water. Combine milk, sugar, shortening and salt. Cool until lukewarm. Stir in about 2 cups of flour and beat well. Stir in softened yeast. Add orange juice, orange rind and remainder of flour to make soft dough. Knead on lighlty floured surface 5 to 10 minutes. Place in lightly greased bowl; turn once to grease surface. Cover and let raise until double in bulk. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Roll into rectangle 10X15 inches. Cut into 30 strips 1/2 inch wide. Shape into bows, cover and let rise until double. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes. Frost while warm with glaze.
