3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/8 teaspoon coconut flavoring (optional)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

In medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and coconut flavoring; add salt, flour and baking soda; stir in coconut.

Form doughs into balls; use the bottom of a drinking glass dipped in sugar to press each ball down slightly. Bake 9 minutes.
