3 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
3 cups rich milk or cream
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
¼ tsp salt
1 tnsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate in top of double boiler over simmering water, and add milk. Stir until well blended. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add a small amount of the hot chocolate mixture, stirring vigorously. Return to double boiler and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cook 20 minutes longer. Add vanilla and butter. Spoon into serving dishes. To chill, press waxed paper on the surface of the pudding. Serve with sweetened whipped cream. Yields 6 servings.
