1 c. onion (chopped)
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can peas
1 can tomato soup
3 c. boiled rice

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' onion in shortening, add meat and brown. Add salt, pepper, peas, and tomato soup and rice. Mix thoroughly and pour mixture in a 2 qt. casserole. Bake uncovered 45 minutes in a 350 oven.
