1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup boiling water
cup margarine
cup milk
1 egg -- beaten
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. bouillon granules -- (1 to 2)
cup cornmeal
2 cups whole wheat flour -- (2 1/2 to 3)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, pour boiling water over oatmeal and margarine. Let stand 10 minutes. Stir in milk, egg, sugar, bouillon and cornmeal. Add flour, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead in the final half cup or more to make a stiff dough. Pat or roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into bone shapes and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
