1 cup butter, softened
6 eggs
1/4 tsp baking soda
8 oz sour cream
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, gradually add sugar until light and fluffy, about 5-7 min. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream and vanilla. Beat on low just until well blended. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 25 min or until cake tests done. Cool in pan for 15 min before removing from pan.
