1 lb lean hamburg
1c rice
1 head of cabbage
salt
garlic powder
16oz can of tomatoes
onion powder
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice. Sautee hamburg and season with the spices above to taste. Mix hamburg and rice together. Boil cabbage approx. 5 min. until pliable, but still stiff.
Can place in baking dish, cover with the tomatoes and bake @ 350 degrees for 45 min. However my grandmother always fried them in butter in an electic skillet after covering them with the tomatoes. If done this way, cover and simmer 30 min. on each side.
