2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas about 3
1/3 c. butter milk
2 unbeaten eggs
2/3 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add shortening, 1/3 c. buttermilk, and bananas. Beat on med speed for 2 min. Add 1/3 c. buttermilk and eggs. Beat 2 more min. Fold in 2/3 c. chopped nuts. Bake at 350 for 30 min.
