Beaten farm cream until thick, just before it turns into butter.

Directions:
When mother was making butter with us kids. We would help turn the butter maker and watch the cream get thick. As the cream got thick we would take a slice of bread, spread with that thick cream and sprinkle sugar over the cream and bread. This was a great snack!

How many of you guys still have cream bread like that?
Just a great memories from home and thing just can not go back as they were; things like the cream bread snack. It just can not be made like the old days.
Remember this is not the same as the cream rags!!
